    I've been here several times and can't say enough good things about this place. The chopped pork with garlic toast has been my favorite until I recently tried the baby back ribs. So much flavor even before adding the BBQ sauce. The meat is always very tender and the ribs fell off the bone. Also tried the Mac and cheese last time I was there... yummmmmm!!! The portion sizes are great, I always have enough for a second meal to take home. Phenomenal family owned business in Lehigh, definitely check it out!

    Mr BBQ, Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I have had this marked for 2 years.

    The food. Baby-back rib , hush puppies & cole slaw. Plus garlic bread. Well the best thing here was the garlic bread. Garlic, buttery and perfectly toasted. Ribs fall off bones, puppies were tasty, cole slaw just cole slaw.

    The entire entree was fine. Nothing to holler about. I see I have higher standards and much better taste buds. If I lived in the area it would be a regular spot. But for me to drive 50 minutes from The Cape, with all these horrible floridians drivers ( Florida always in top five for bad drivers in the US) , It is just not worth it.

    Can't say error is with Yelp or restaurant...and links on Yelp website don't help...anyways, my nephew arrived on a Sunday evening, and had an urge for some BBQ, so we headed over to Mr. BBQ, arriving at 8pm (after checking Yelp hours saying location open til 9pm on Sundays).  Place was locked up and lights off.  So who knows how good food could have been.  But don't worry about us, we traveled just up the road to RIB CITY and had an excellent BBQ dinner in a very busy restaurant for a Sunday evening!

    Garlic bread was good, ribs and baked beans were tasty... but the pork we got was dry and unflavored. For the BBQ sauce, we requested a variety, and got a few containers of one overly sweet sauce, did not enjoy it. The fries were soggy soaked, tasting like straight oil and no seasoning! Yuck. Had it for dinner, and woke up with a sour stomach and bad smelling burps. For the prices they charge, we definitely expected a better experience all around. Won't be going back.

    i have ate here a few times
    truth is the food is ok

    the service on the other hand
    has always been lacking

    so I only go far less often then i would if the employees running register seemed to care or know what they were doing
